PROGRAM MANAGER

Position Summary:
The Program Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of multiple projects within DU-Program Management. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure successful and timely completion. The Program Manager will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual must also be able to identify and manage risks, while ensuring that all project resources are effectively utilized.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and report on status to stakeholders.
  • Establish and communicate project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and other departments.
  • Identify and manage project risks.
  • Facilitate team meetings and ensure effective communication among team members.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor project team members.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement best practices for project management.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to meet project goals.
  • Monitor project performance and provide guidance to team members to ensure successful completion.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency of the program management process.
  • Develop and implement communication plans for projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-6 years of experience in project management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
