About the position:

We're looking for a Programmer Analyst Programs, tests, debugs, and maintains existing and new applications. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to others. You will:

  • Makes major changes to existing business relevant applications, moderate changes to existing business important applications, and minor changes to existing business critical applications.
  • Develops new moderate business relevant applications, and new minor business important applications.
  • Recommends new third-party libraries for approval by management.
  • Utilizes complex test cases and methodologies.
  • Utilizes complex troubleshooting techniques and methodologies.
  • Provides accurate estimates for small to medium changes.
  • Actively gains exposure to new technology improvements.
  • Suggests improvements to guidelines, best practices, and SDLC.
  • Provides feedback on specifications, requirements and documentation before proceeding with work.
  • Reviews projects and resolves key technical issues with senior-level staff.
  • Ensures programs/applications possess optimum design elements and most efficient test procedures.
  • Makes recommendations to ensure applications best meet current and future business design, reliability and security needs.
  • Assesses, and maintains application security.
  • Safeguards the company's data by maintaining enterprise-level security, prioritizing to ensure the integrity of the applications most vulnerable to attack.
  • Receives coaching and feedback from higher-level developers and provides mentoring to lower level developers.
  • Performs related work as assigned.
  • Regular attendance in the workplace is required for interaction with others and to support teamwork.

About you:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Three or more years of related work experience is required.

It would be great if you had:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills are required to show responsiveness and tact.
  • Ability to influence senior-level staff on sensitive or technical issues.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of programming languages and techniques, operating systems, testing, and data management.
  • Possesses complex knowledge of software security measures, data utilization techniques, version control systems, current technological ecosystem/environment and UI/UX Design concepts.

About the total compensation package:

Salary - The salary for this position is: $68,440 – $87,609.

Relocation - This position may qualify for relocation.
