QA Engineer - Maternity Cover

The Customer Account team is responsible for building and supporting the systems that enable the operation of the company’s ecommerce properties as well as the interaction with our Telerik products customers. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that drives the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Please, note that this is a maternity cover role with an approximate duration of 1,5 year.

In this role, you will:         

  • Design, execute and automate test scenarios and test cases based on feature requirements and specifications 
  • Get familiar with feature requirements and provide feedback on them 
  • Develop and maintain automated tests (functional, visual, security and performance tests) 
  • Monitor and maintain test environments as well as the overall quality of the applications and services 
  • Analyze business requirements. Provide additional scenarios and use cases - based on continuously enriched understanding of the customer problem 
  • Provide realistic time estimates on tasks and assignments 
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization 
  • Understand the work of the others, not just your own function 
Your background:   
  • Prior testing experience with the following technologies: ASP.NET Web API
  • Prior experience with test automation frameworks: Selenium with .NET
  • Experience with reading specifications and preparing acceptance tests, test cases
  • Fundamental SQL knowledge
  • Experience with version control systems (TFS, Git etc.)
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Exceptional ability to learn new skills
  • Down-to-earth, creative, driven and friendly personality
