Project Coordinator

Progressive Design, Inc. is currently seeking an Project Coordinator to support a large PDI client based in Virginia.  This position will be working with the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) program managing the Request for Information process between contractors.  This is a full time position that is located in Richmond, VA and is anticipated to be at least a two year commitment.  

General Responsibilities:

•Manage the Request for Information (RFI) business process from contractors

•Request clarification about documents, drawings, specifications, or other project conditions

•Resolve information gaps, eliminate ambiguities, and capture and share specific decisions during the course of the project

•Conducting administrative duties

•Tracking and reporting project progress

•Maintain a strong line of communication with all team members on projects

•Position will be expected and paid for overtime (40-50 hours per week on average)

•Primarily based in Richmond, VA with occasional travel to Virginia Beach

Minimum Requirements:

•2+ years’ experience working in administrative field with technical background in construction

•Strong written and oral communication skills

•Excellent multitasking skills

•Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision

•Excellent problem-solving skills

•Detail orientated and highly organized

•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
