Join Forbes’ 2024 Best Employer for Diversity!As a BI developer senior-lead in the Commercial Lines group you’ll assist our business partners with their data analysis and reporting. This will include your coding of complex, cost-effective ETLs/ Dimensional models/reporting solutions for business related problems. You’ll interact daily with our business partners, serving as a knowledge expert to prepare business specific data analysis, build new and maintain existing ETL structures, multidimensional cubes, and reporting to aide in their decision making. Participation in the on-call support rotation is required. Remote work allowed.Must-have Qualifications• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Business Management) and a minimum of 2 years designing/developing, programming and supporting software programs/applications.• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years related work experience with working knowledge of designing/developing, programming and supporting software programs/applications.Preferred Skills• Proficient with Snowflake and with scripting languages like Python to aid with complex ETL structures & along with some application development knowledge. Knowledge of Big Data technologies and Cloud (i.e., Azure, AWS) is a plus.• Experience in design and implementation of ETL framework for complex data mart projects. Plus, experience in multiple database platforms, including SQL Server and DB2.• Thorough working knowledge Microsoft BI stack SSIS including recent versions of SQL Server.
