Join Forbes’ 2024 Best Employer for Diversity!As a senior backend developer on the External Communications team, you’ll contribute quality code and participate in the software development life cycle to deliver solutions. This team maintains the enterprise e-signature application and acts as an intermediary between Progressive and our e-signature vendor for entire organization. In this role, you’ll research and analyze technical functionality and needs, code system enhancements, develop interfaces between components of several subsystems or computer platforms, and code defect fixes. You’ll also evaluate the requirements documentation to ensure it is comprehensive, testable, and usable. Additionally, as a technical resource, provide guidance to others by reviewing work and providing recommendations for design, coding or testing approach, which could include conducting or participating in code reviews or other methods to ensure code quality.
