Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure documents are complete and accurate
• Create / Maintain various schedules for properties/tax/insurance
• Perform quality control for acquisitions and dispositions
• Verify cash disbursements and receipts in the appropriate bank accounts
• Additional project work could include building/maintaining property schedules, tracking property funding sources of cash against policy as well as working across departments to get status of property repair projects.

Requirements

• An exceptional attention to detail
• Highly skilled at understanding and interpreting financial documents
• Highly proactive to question and obtain documentation
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, including drafting journal entries and account reconciliations
• Solid Excel skills
• Strong interdepartmental communication skills
• NetSuite experience is a plus, but not required
• Prior mortgage lender, operations, originations, servicer or title experience is a plus, but not required
