POSITION TITLE: Level II, Assistant, Project Accounting
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:
ADB is a Nationwide full turnkey provider of technology infrastructure solutions including Wireline, Wireless, ISP, AV, and Engineering. ADB is seeking a Level II Assistant, Project Accounting to support the efficient and effective operations within the corporate project accounting department. This position will perform various accounting functions such as invoicing, accounts receivable and payable processing, change orders, etc. The ideal candidate will have a foundation of accounting procedures, will be process oriented and can take on a variety of deadline driven tasks, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Performs various accounting functions, including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Job Costing
  • Participate in weekly project staff meetings and provide reporting on project specifics related to project financials
  • Maintain weekly billing process to research, create, and complete billing related to contract milestones
  • Understand contractual language and change orders to ensure 100% billing is completed
  • Correspond with customers to review statements and make inquires or resolve issues when needed
  • Review, input, route customer invoices electronically or by mail; ensure customers are billed correctly for services performed
  • Prepares financial job costing reports when needed
  • Submit change orders and invoices through various customer portals
  • Review, input, and distribute bids; track bids utilizing Salesforce
  • Creates and maintains job numbers
  • Maintain monthly spreadsheets of invoicing and send to Project Managers as requested
  • Monitor outstanding AR and follow up with customers for payments
  • Prepares and provides financial reports when requested
  • Correspond with customers to review statements and make inquires or resolve issues when needed
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by leadership

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, projectors, copy/fax, and smartphones
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
  • 2+ year of accounting related experience
  • Associates in Accounting or other business-related degree
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Max Pay for this Position: $24 an hour
