Content Area or Department Brief Description
The WestEd CEETTA and DRTTA teams provide training and technical assistance for the California early childhood workforce to support best practices for children and families. The teams develop and implement systems of support for formative assessment and professional development to build the capacity of educators and providers as they implement and support successful outcomes for diverse populations.
The teams partner with state and local education and human service agencies to build capacity to promote a comprehensive approach to improving developmental, academic, and positive outcomes for children and youth.
The Opportunity
WestEd is seeking a dynamic program coordinator to join the team to work in a fast-paced environment. Our team focuses on projects that lie at the intersection of racial equity, social justice, and workforce development. You will undertake a variety of project management support, and product coordination activities for online, virtual, and in-person training development for early childhood professionals. Specifically, this position includes deep knowledge of the Desired Results System, supporting daily tracking of tasks, meeting scheduling, working in Smartsheet and Box, and support team leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds as well as the ability to flex communication styles to match multiple cultural environments. Experience with common web-based business solutions and content management is preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with spoken and written language abilities in English and Spanish. You must live in California and be able to work from our Alameda, Camarillo, Sacramento office.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The full salary range for this position, WestEd level F, is $74,080 to $111,100 but WestEd does not typically hire at or near the top of the salary range. The typical hiring range for this role is $74,080 to $92,600. The actual offer takes into account multiple factors including but not limited to education; experience; internal equity, and other organizational needs.
