We are currently seeking a qualified Project Engineer to work on leading-edge technology products. The successful candidate for this full-time position will be a part of a highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: Tempe, Arizona, USA.
Schedule: Day Shift; Onsite.

DESCRIPTION – Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within client’s Mechanical Systems & Components on Pneumatic Valve and Start Systems products. You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Milestone development/management
• Customer technical communication and relationships
• Understand technology.
• Metric development/reporting
• Risk (threats/opportunities) development and management
• Hardware supplier technical communication
• Project performance and execution
• Technical problem solving/Root cause analysis.
• Technical documentation
• Design validation build and test execution.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 1-year minimum experience in project or systems engineering
• Due to ITAR and software requirements, the candidate must have legal status in the US

Preferred Qualification

• Team building and collaboration.
• Some experience in Pneumatic Valves and Start Systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to create specific action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Interest in project management - cost, schedule, technical execution
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
• Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
• Able to convey technical ideas and concepts through team discussions, presentations and in writing.
