General Summary

This position is responsible for developing & leading the procurement, estimating and execution of selected large projects covering multiple jobs in the Los Angeles and Orange Counties areas to ensure project efficiency and compliance of Company policies and procedures.

Guide and oversee the successful pursuit and management of large projects in Los Angeles and Orange Counties and ensure profitable project completion.
Support the estimating and project management teams to ensure the collaboration on a range of functions, including estimating team, estimating process and bid reviews for large projects, and project execution.
Develop, train and mentor project managers, engineers, estimators, and project staff for current and future staffing opportunities.
Develop and build relationships with JV partners, owners, and designers to maximize large project opportunities throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
Ensure compliance with Granite's large project approval process and all required documentation is provided. Ensure deadlines are met with respect to senior management approval, risk evaluation and margin definition.
Participate in design task groups (if alternate procurement) and construction methods meetings to ensure best practices and innovation are utilized to maximize competitiveness.
Monitor and improve project methods and operations to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
Monitor schedule, work plans and project specific reports to ensure project progress is on track and completed on time.

Benefits may vary for positions located outside of the continental United States.

Base Salary Range:

$214,643.00 - $321,964.00

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
