Project Manager

Project Manager in Customer, Portfolio & Value Generation (CPVG), a group within our US Access Marketing organization

The Project Manager will support the Director and other members of the Customer and Portfolio Marketing Group with project management. At any given time, there may be 10-20 different projects that Marketers are leading with agencies and consultancies supporting them. The project manager will help the Marketers and Director keep track of project names, descriptions, objectives, deliverables, file storage/organization, and roles and responsibilities. Additionally, the Project Manager would assist with agency on-boarding support through procurement (master service agreements), scope of work (SOW) routing and approval, and serve as conduit between team and our internal budget point. The Project Manager would also support the Marketers with education and routing of promotional materials through BMS' promotional review process (PREP). This includes scheduling meetings, routing and tracking resources and field communications through the underlying software system (VEEVA PromoMats). The role will also help manage the team's VAP Voice Sharepoint website when needed. Lastly, from time to time, the role may be asked to assist update slides with support from agencies as the team prepares PowerPoint slides for internal presentation. This is a lesser part of the role though.

Skills required:
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Project management software platforms like Workfront, MS Project is preferred but, at minimum, some use of software for advanced planning is needed (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • MS Office experience
  • Strong interest in becoming a key member of an integrated team; this role would support the broader team and thus needs to be well aware of team objectives, shifting priorities and timelines, and be able to keep on top of a fun and fast-paced group that works with range of broader internal matrix partners to support the US business

Following skills are a plus but not required:
  • Prior experience and / or rudimentary understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and, in particular, the marketing process (either Healthcare professional promotions or Payer/Health System [Access] marketing). Some of this knowledge could be prioritized over extensive experience in project management skill set.

Top Skills- Project management, organizational skills, software system comfort (VEEVA PromoMats for PREP submission, Workfront / PowerPoint for project work)....and some level of passion/interest in this role and integrating with the team.
