JOB SUMMARY: This role is a Project Manager in our Enterprise Data and Analytics group. This position will require to own the project issues and ensure the resolution by engaging appropriate teams. Work and collaborate cross-functionally with teams, business stakeholders and work with the Digital & IT / Data Science team, and the peer Data Analyst network across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Keep track of budget and schedule throughout the project lifecycle
Identify risks and escalate issues on time, to the right stakeholders, take proactive steps to mitigate the risks.
Manage Defects to closure.
Identify and handle crisis situations during project lifecycle
Own the project issues and ensure the resolution by engaging appropriate teams
Participate in reviews over key project documents like Initial Request, Clear-choices, Solution Proposal, Test Strategy, Implementation plan etc.
Manage Project delivery by creating and maintaining detailed project Plans (Should have the ability to challenge the estimates from all IT stakeholders and technology partners)
Own and prepare key project documents like TOR / Project Charter, Project plan, Test Strategy, Implementation Plan and Post Implementation Report (PIR) etc.
Timely project status/performance reporting and escalations, as required
Identify and manage all changes over projects as per agreed change control process
Ensure compliance to the organization’s PM process, procedures and controls Play key role in project and resource prioritization along with IT and Business stakeholders
Ability to handle non-functional requirements towards closure
SKILLS & KNOWLDGE
8 to 12 years of experience in managing large and complex IT Projects involving Master Data implementation and Migration.
Experience in leading, global, remote and virtual teams.
Proven track record of IT delivery across medium, large and complex projects Co-ordination of activities across multiple IT teams in multiple locations and time zones
Proven practical experience of entire project lifecycle (SDLC/Waterfall and Agile/Scrum with DevOps knowledge)
Strong understanding of stakeholder management, within Business and IT
Strong risk & issue management skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience on project Management tools – eg. Clarity, Mercury Quality Centre, JIRA, Confluence, RTC etc
Strong Negotiation Skills
Strong understanding of PM processes
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics.
