Position Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role communicating directly with municipal authorities and HOA communities to streamline processes, minimize fines and establish completion of all pending transactions in a professional and collaborative manner. This individual will develop a partnership with the compliance coordinators to ensure violations are properly resolved and closed. Strong communication, multi-tasking and negotiation skills are critical to the success of this role. Ideal candidate will demonstrate a growth mindset and suggest future improvements as this position and our business continue to evolve.
Key Responsibilities
Work with municipal authorities and HOA communities to effectively remediate violations and minimize fines and penalties assessed to homes within assigned portfolio. Work cross-functionally to effectively resolve any HOA and municipal related matters.
Handle all HOA/municipality accounting, enforcement, and general business functions for assigned portfolio.
Proven record of responsiveness with exceptional time management and organization skills.
Professionally represent Progress Residential when negotiating transactions and work closely with municipal authorities and HOA communities to develop business relationships
Acquire and maintain knowledge of current state, local, and HOA statutes, policies and/or procedures.
Required Qualifications
Associate Level Degree - Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
Must be proficient in MS Office software, Excel and be able to quickly master new technology and systems.
Excellent customer service, communication (written and oral), analytical ability, organizational, and negotiations skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to colleagues, municipality authorities and HOA contacts.
Experience working in a high growth organization where concurrent projects have differing priorities and deadlines and may require the need to pivot and realign based on emerging business needs.
Proven relationship management skills with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge in Yardi and Salesforce.
Demonstrates ability to take initiative, work independently and make sound decisions.
Proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects and priorities.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, while meeting tight deadlines.
