Position Description
EasyKnock is seeking a driven, passionate, and customer-centric Property Management Associate to act as point of contact between our Property Management team and Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and local municipalities. The primary functions of this position are to coordinate all activities related to HOA management, rental registrations, tracking and resolving violations and other general administrative duties needed to help our tenants be successful. The Property Management Associate coordinates with accounts payable, transaction management, sales, and other departments as necessary.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform HOA onboarding and ensure payment of HOA dues.
- Act as a resource and liaison between our tenants and the EasyKnock team.
- Receive, investigate, and resolve resident concerns.
- Investigate and resolve property complaints and rental violations.
- Monitor and ensure all required HOA/City/County/State requirements are met.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with tenants, HOAs and local municipalities to resolve maintenance/code violations.
- Coordinate with HOAs, local municipalities, vendors and tenants to complete necessary rental inspection/registrations.
- Perform HOA offboarding and order HOA resale docs.
- Coordinate and document performance of periodic inspections (inside/outside) on a predefined schedule looking for repair needs, safety hazards, code violations, lease violations, etc.
- Coordinate property inspections and arranging for repairs and new materials or equipment as required.
- Arrange contracts with contractors or engaging approved vendors for maintenance, repairs, trash removal, landscaping, security and other ongoing services as well managing disputes with these service providers where appropriate.
- Coordinate property management activity with vendors, business partners, sales, transaction management, and legal.
- Partner with our internal accounts payable, transaction management, sales, and other departments as necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent. Prefer additional related coursework, preferably in business administration or prior experience in the property management field.
- 3+ years in property management or 3+ years in a fast-paced, high-touch point customer service environment.
- Skilled in all aspects of general property management.
- General knowledge of landlord tenant regulations, Fair Housing Act, and related property management policies/laws.
- Preferred experience with Home Owners Associations (HOA) management.
- Experience with computer/mobile devices, email, MS Excel/Google Sheets, MS Word/Google Docs, property management application/software, Salesforce, and Zendesk, and/or similar applications.
- Able to compose business documents and written communications with good grammar, punctuation and free of errors.
- Well organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain a positive and productive relationship with tenants.
- Attention to detail.
