What we're looking for
Our UK client, a creative marketing agency, is looking for a Video Editor to create cinematic, story-driven commercials, social content, and short-form videos. This role is key to producing high-quality, visually engaging content that enhances the agency’s work. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail and knows how to elevate video quality, with basic skills in color correction, audio adjustments, and motion graphics.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and create engaging, story-driven video content, including commercials and social media content.
  • Work with diverse footage formats and ensure seamless adaptation to production requirements.
  • Perform video editing, along with basic color and audio adjustments, to enhance quality.
  • Maintain a professional, high-end visual standard across all projects.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to meet project goals and resolve technical challenges.

Must-have:

  • Proficiency in Davinci Resolve for editing and basic color/audio correction.
  • Experience with RED camera workflows and various footage types.
  • Strong storytelling skills for creating engaging, cinematic content.
  • Basic understanding of motion graphics and working with LUTs.
  • Reliable high-speed internet for downloading large footage files.

  • Experience editing for multiple aspect ratios (TV and social platforms).
