Seeking Energy Data Analyst candidates with relevant Energy, Science, and Technology Research Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Science, and Technology Research Sector Clients such as DOEOP.  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Evaluation Support Functional Area - Energy Technical Consulting Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Energy Technical Consulting (Energy Data Analyst) in the Energy, Science, and Technology Research Industry Sector focussing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as Department of Energy  (DOE | OP) | DOE Office of Policy (OP) Generally Located In CONUS - Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Energy Data Analyst | Evaluation Support [DOEOP043048]

Conducts analysis of energy consumption, production, and trends to support policy development. Align with Evaluation Support Functional Area initiatives as a Energy Data Analyst that Processes and interprets data to produce insights that guide program evaluations and policy decisions..  Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP).  These services enable mission objectives involved with renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies.

 Data Analyst is responsible for key functions such as developing analyses, supporting initiatives, and ensuring alignment with project objectives. The role of Data Analyst involves supporting DOE initiatives with analysis, collaboration, and strategic implementation. Assess the impact, feasibility, and outcomes of energy programs and policies using qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualified candidates for Data Analyst must possess expertise in their respective field, with experience in energy, policy, and technical consulting. Qualified candidates for Data Analyst must possess domain expertise, technical proficiency, and experience in related fields.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

Candidates for Transport Modeler typically require a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Other Details

The Transport Modeler role may involve cross-functional collaboration and participation in high-level DOE strategy discussions. This role is estimated to be engaged as Full-time role focused on modeling transportation energy systems and their integration. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, the individuals who will be actively completing work on this contract or reviewing documents related to our operations must either be cleared (Secret Fcl / Top Secret Fcl) or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance (i.e. DOE Q).
