Position Summary
The Product Support Specialist primary responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for shipping & receiving, product management, order preparation and fulfillment, warehouse management, related logistics and customer support.
Essential Functions
• Obtain and fulfill product orders.
• Receive deliveries and distribute packages and letters.
• Manage and manufacture testing kits as needed.
• Maintain product inventory through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis.
• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items.
• Investigate and address shipping issues as needed.
• Provide customer service for order fulfillment.
• Address customer complaints as needed.
• Maintain quality checks of product storage locations and laboratory ovens.
• Manage quality control receipt of third party manufactured products.
• Maintain logistics documentation and records.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
· This job operates in a hybrid (laboratory and office) environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and label printers, and laboratory equipment such as drying ovens and refrigerators.
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using hands.
· Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
Education and Experience
• High School Diploma required.
