Position Overview
This intern position will provide support to the Product Management team (within the Chief Business Officer organization) in Burlingame, CA. You will learn and gain practical experience in a hands-on environment while providing support to client groups at the site and will be in an environment where you can have a greater impact and earn a competitive salary during the... program.
About The Role – You Will
• Gain practical experience in a hands-on environment.
• Complete product requirements and gap analysis for target market applications and make recommendations on possible product roadmap changes, investments, priorities
• Drive establishment of a process to identify, track and report out on cost of goods sold (COGS) and production reports
• Analyze current cost of goods sold metrics and make recommendations for areas on improvement
• Product Cost Modeling and optimization initiatives
• Coordinate with internal customers in areas of assigned responsibility to assist with battery product strategy.
• Have opportunities to propose new ideas or improvement concepts.
• Work with a mentor that will support and be a resource for you during your internship assignment.

• You will report to the Director of Product Management and may collaborate with other team members across our partner location in Greer, SC.

Your Experience Includes
• Enrollment in MBA program or graduate engineering or business degree. Undergraduate seniors can be considered
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Apply the theory from college/university course work to real world scenarios / situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Physical Demands:
• May work various shifts as needed; may be requested to travel to different locations.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Able to walk, stand, crouch, bench, kneel, lift, carry and reach as needed in large and tight spaces.
• Good eye/hand coordination and ability to identify color variations, depth perceptions and close or distance visual items.
• Manual dexterity with occasional repetitive finger motion.
• Environmental Demands:
• Ability to work in manufacturing environment with extreme heat and cold conditions.
• Wear protective clothing or respiratory protective equipment.
• Works with irritant chemicals, gases, etc

Location: Burlingame, CA (on-site preferred)
Temporary Housing: Not available
Length of internship: Full Time Summer Semester (30-40 hours per week), and/or Full Time Fall Semester (30-40 hours per week)
Travel: 0 - 10%
