About The Team
The Business Development Team (BDR) is at the forefront of Protex AI's commercial efforts. As the initial point of contact, we set the tone for what it’s like to partner with us! Our team engages with potential clients to identify mutual fits and generates new opportunities through proactive prospecting campaigns targeted at key accounts.
We focus on providing an exceptional experience and attend to every detail. Our goal is to generate high-quality opportunities for our Account Executive team, resulting in new business and the growth of Protex AI’s customer base.

About the Role
In the role as a Business Development Representative, you will be fundamental in helping to generate new business opportunities to partner with leading companies across North America and Europe.
What You’ll Do:
Build and manage a pipeline of leads through prospecting and handling marketing-generated leads
Educate prospects on the Protex AI solution, identify good fits through detailed qualification calls, and create new opportunities for Account Executives
Collaborate with Account Executives on strategic account plans and sales opportunities
Be friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in every interaction with potential customers
Play an active role in developing and improving processes for the entire BDR team. Creative ideas are welcome!
Represent Protex AI at conferences, expos, and other key events
What You’ll Bring
We value passion and curiosity over specific sales experience. Here’s what we’re looking for:
1-3 years Customer-Facing experience
A self starter eager to build something special with a great team
Confidence to make decisions independently, use sound judgement, & accept feedback
Genuine curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo
Persistence in achieving goals and targets despite challenges
Strong verbal & written communication skills with external clients and internal team members
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to drive significant results
Technological competence, with a preference for experience in the SaaS business model, tech sales, or using software sales technology
Fluency in English
