This position reports to the Manager Field Engineering and Line Academy. This position will evaluate subordinate personnel and Shop's tools, materials, methods, and safety.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Responsible for the supervision, performance, and safety of all personnel engaged in the Tan/Delta Cable testing, manhole inspections programsOversees work presented to Union employees to complete daily to support the Capital ProjectsEvaluate subordinate personnel and Shop’s tools, materials, methods, and safety.Responsible for the administration of Company, Department and Division policies pertaining to accident prevention.Demonstrable leadership skills, as well as, the ability to plan, organize and control training classes are necessary.Prepares reports, schedules and develops and revises training classes for Hicksville Training Academies.Teach employees new policies, procedures, and processes; train them to use new equipment, materials, and techniques.Have availability outside of normal business hours to maintain business continuity.Job Specific QualificationsRequired:• BS in Engineering and 4 years of relevant engineering work experience• Minimum of 4 years supervisory expereince• Work with others at various supervisory and management levels.• Must possess a valid US driver’s license, with a safe and satisfactory driving history.
