JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State’s Materials Research Institute is seeking a part-time IT support and workflow projects involving entry-level programming.
Job duties to include:
• Update the MRI inventory database by removing redundant entries and merging old data.
• Address security vulnerabilities identified by OIS.
• Review and update printing instructions, Airtame settings, and meeting room technology; explore improvements and alternatives.
• Maintain MRI VM servers, applying necessary updates weekly.
• Support Power-CRM (Dynamics) environments by researching and developing basic flows and complex scripts.
• Conduct unit testing for in-house software Laboratory Equipment Operations (LEO), focusing on functional and security aspects.
