JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Pennsylvania Office of Rural Health (PORH) in the College of Health and Human Development is seeking applications for a Part-Time Research Associate. Application review will begin immediately and continue until all available openings have been filled.

Function/Duties:

  • Participate in PORH activities
  • Conduct research into rural health issues
  • Develop and/or format materials for the PORH website
  • Perform literature searches
  • Provide data support and assistance for state- and federally-contracted tasks and deliverables as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a undergraduate program in health administration, public health, or related field
  • Basic analytic skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of the Office’s project teams

This position reports to the director.
