POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Psypact Licensed Pain Psychologist
Specialization in Pain Psychology
Prefer APA-acredited post-doctoral fellowship that specializes in chronic pain
Prefer minimum of one year of experience in providing treatment for acute and chronic pain
Sign off on the assessments done by our therapists
Ability to provide psychological evaluations
Ability to handle member needs with passion and care
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly changing environment with a focus on delivering high quality results
Attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to pass criminal background checks
Commitment of 20 hours per week
YOUR ROLE:
Use Lucid Lane’s easy-to-use platform and integrated tools to provide group counseling sessions. Operation support is provided including billing, credentialing, and compliance services.
Provide timely documentation of sessions and member care
Review Pain Psychology Curriculum
Provide education to therapy staff on pain psychology
Provide ongoing communication with physicians and clinical staff
Attend weekly team meetings with medical director and clinical staff as needed.
Prefer that candidate can be available under special circumstances to provide sixty-minute group psychotherapy sessions to members virtually (teleconferencing) using our Mind-Body Therapy Curriculum consisting of CBT and mindfulness-based interventions, and other evidence-based interventions

We provide mind-body therapies for pain in group sessions to help opioid-naïve patients prepare for postoperative pain and chronic pain patients manage their pain, in order to help reduce reliance on opioids for pain management.
We are looking for a pain psychologist to lead Lucid Lane’s Mind-Body Therapy groups for pain that provides education on pain and introduces patients to mindfulness, CBT, and guided imagery interventions for pain.
