The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the creative process and an ability to quickly absorb new developments in the technology space. Candidates should be hands-on, with the ability to prototype and to conceptualize solutions for a wide range of use cases and experiences. Just as important, the candidate should have excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact with the full range of disciplines found in a digital agency. They will be experts in the latest consumer-facing technologies and how clients can use them to connect with their customers - and be able to articulate these ideas well.As an Associate Director, Creative Technology at Digitas, you will be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions to support the creative vision of the company. You will work closely with creatives, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to create prototypes, proof of concepts, and final products. You will also be responsible for brainstorming concepts with the design team, driving application innovation, and integrating new technologies.Robust expertise in Machine Learning and Generative AI would be primary. Web (Next.js, Svelte, and React especially) and app development skills would be highly valued – but not required. Spatial Computing, Experiential Tech, Web3, and related/adjacent areas would also be valuable in this role - but not required. You would be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in these areas and be able to apply them to the company’s projects.In addition to your technical skills, you would need to have strong communication, presentation, and time-management skills. You would need to be comfortable handling risk and change and be open to feedback. Above all else, you must be able to stay calm under pressure and know how to solve problems.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Support the creative technology team and drive innovation at the intersection of creative and technology.Develop and implement technical solutions to support the creative vision of the company.Work closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to create prototypes, proof of concepts, and final products.Brainstorm concepts with the design team, drive application innovation, and integrate new technologies.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Artificial Intelligence and other emergent technologiesApply the latest trends and technologies to the company’s projects.Ensure that the company’s projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Collaborate with internal departments and clients to design creative technical solutions that address our needs.Develop enhanced and interactive user experiences.Demonstrate prototypes.Transform developmental needs into intuitive, effective, and user-friendly digital experiences.QualificationsWe’re looking for strong, impactful experience, which typically includes:Advanced proficiency in modern languages (Python, JS), frameworks, and APIs.Demonstrated proficiency, supported by examples of experimenting with the latest AI platforms and tools.Five to seven years at a competitive creative agency or comparable experience including a minimum of 2 years as a creative technologist. Demonstrable industry knowledge.Experience designing, deploying, and optimizing technical solutions.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Superb collaboration and communication skills.Great organizational and time management skills.Exceptional ability to lead technological innovation.Got what it takes?
