Job Description The Director, Influencers and Brand Partnerships will shape CJ's strategy in the Influencer Marketing space. The Director will guide CJ's approach to creating the right solutions, be involved in pitching new advertisers and advocating for the channel across the industry. With a focus on expanding our reach and revenue growth, this role must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the Influencer Marketing industry. Will lead and manage the development of long-term strategy plans for CJ's overall approach to influencers. Additionally, the Director will build relationships internally with the brand management organization as well as new sales. The Director will be responsible for the success of the Influencer Marketing Team regarding their collective clients, mutual goals, and development. Responsibilities include: o Advise brands and internal teams on how to best optimize and grow their influencer programs by utilizing data insights and industry trends. o Guide teams on the development of Influencer campaigns contracted by CJ's advertisers. o Be the Subject Matter Expert internally to educate advertisers and publishers on the vertical and business benefits to partnering with CJ with an eye on the competitive landscape to help keep CJ ahead of the pack from a product and relationship perspective. o Elevate CJ's positioning within the influencer space through thought leadership. Use industry events, conferences, podcasts and client events to advocate/educate on CJ's capabilities through speaking engagements or one/one meetings. o Create publisher advocacy for both CJ & the affiliate channel by establishing third party partnerships, identifying investment opportunities with CJ advertisers, and providing strategy plans to build their business. o Identify, escalate, and guide solutions needed to advance the entire vertical. Collaborate with CJ's Product Team to bring those solutions to completion whether through partnerships or internal product development. o Proactively seek out and participate in stakeholder groups. Collaborate with supporting departments, and stakeholders to drive growth with publisher adoption and innovation at a global scale. o Coordinate with your team on the best approach to educate publishers on CJ's interface, tools, and data assets in accordance with general business and affiliate marketing best practices to better position clients for success. o Lead, manage, train, educate and mentor Influencer Managers on best practices, team goals, publisher client needs and CJ innovations and how it will benefit their own portfolio of clients. Experience 7 years of Digital Marketing experience (preferably Affiliate Marketing) 2-5 years in an Influencer Marketing related role 3-5 years' experience managing 1 or more direct reports Strong verbal and written communication abilities Effective decision-making skills Excellent organizational and communications skills with a strong attention to detail Ability to work across departments and divisions by building consensus and delivering upon stated objectives Qualifications Experience 7 years of Digital Marketing experience (preferably Affiliate Marketing) 2-5 years in an Influencer Marketing related role 3-5 years' experience managing 1 or more direct reports Strong verbal and written communication abilities Effective decision-making skills Excellent organizational and communications skills with a strong attention to detail Ability to work across departments and divisions by building consensus and delivering upon stated objectives Salary Range: $150K -- $200K Minimum Qualification Brand Marketing & Management, Digital Marketing & Social MediaEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
