 This role sits within the employee experience team of one of our agencies. We’re dedicated to improving the reputation of our clients and enhancing their employee experience through innovative and strategic communication solutions. We are seeking a Director to play a key leadership role in the continuing growth of the Employee Experience team.

Our work spans the entire employee lifecycle, with typical briefs covering:

  • Talent Attraction: Develop and implement innovative talent attraction campaigns to help clients meet their recruitment goals.
  • Research and Insights: Conduct in-depth research and insight projects to guide our communication strategies.
  • Employer Value Proposition development: Creation of authentic and differentiating employer value propositions.
  • Employer Branding: Craft progressive employer branding approaches that exceed expectations.
  • Internal Communication: Develop internal communication strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Change Communication: Implement change communication programmes, often driven by mergers, acquisitions, restructures, or the introduction of new processes or technologies.
  • Culture Shaping: Lead culture shaping activities, including the development of vision, values, behaviours, and purpose.

 

Job Description

The role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Board Director of our Employee Experience team and wider stakeholders to deliver strong strategic council and guidance to existing clients and contribute to the continued growth both through client development and new business.

They will have strategic oversight on our biggest client accounts, lead on new business and marketing activity, have full responsibility for budgeting, financial forecasting and ultimately live up to ambition to deliver the most progressive employee communications work in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strong strategic counsel and guidance to existing clients, working closely with the Board Director and other stakeholders on major client accounts and new business activities,
  • Client Development: Drive the continued growth of the team through client development and new business initiatives.
  • Financial Oversight and Management: Take full responsibility for financial management, forecasting and budgeting for key client accounts.
  • Growth and Development: Identify potential leads and areas of growth within existing clients and generate new prospects.
  • Guidance and Team Management: Able to act as a leader within the team, providing strong direction and mentorship to team members.
  • Cross-functional work: Collaborate with PR and Corporate Reputation specialists to deliver cross-functional services and campaigns for clients.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of working in employer brand, employee engagement or internal communications within an agency environment.
  • Experience of designing and implementing communications and engagement strategies for varied business objectives and across diverse employee and leadership groups.
  • A track record of creating innovative and measurable solutions to business challenges.
  • Ability to spot cross-functional opportunities and work collaboratively to develop an approach for realising them.
  • Experience working with and counselling senior management, providing clear, confident and informed advice.
  • Highly adaptable and able to work across several clients and projects, managing them all confidently and with a high level of competence.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Proven track record of leading teams to successful project completion.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and support professional development of team members.
