Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Director to lead our international client business in 360-degree marketing and communication initiatives. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of client engagement, from strategy development to execution, with the primary objective of delivering exceptional customer experiences that drive client satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Achievement:

  • Focus on achieving targeted revenue goals.
  • Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to secure cross-national initiatives.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Act as the main point of contact, addressing client needs and concerns.
  • Work closely with clients to identify strategic objectives and align our services accordingly.

3. Project Leadership:

  • Lead the development and implementation of compelling marketing and communication strategies in collaboration with internal experts and the relevant global and regional team.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with the client.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project requirements.

4. Presentation Skills:

  • Deliver persuasive and impactful presentations to clients, effectively showcasing strategies and recommendations.
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Tailor presentations to suit different audiences, adjusting content and style as needed.

5. Team Leadership:

  • Provide guidance and direction to a cross-functional team of strategists, creatives, media, and specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Mentor and develop team members, encouraging their professional growth.

Qualifications

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience (15+ years) in account management or consulting with large Japanese enterprises, particularly in B2B2C and end-to-end marketing.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience principles, methodologies, best practices, and digital technologies that bring these visions to life.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
  • Proficient in both Japanese and English (written and spoken).
