Purchasing Internship (Remote)

Type of Position: Internship, full-time, non-exempt, non-benefits eligible

Working Hours: Flexible, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Pay: $14 per hour

What you'll be doing

• Sourcing new materials with domestic and import vendors
• Assisting with reviewing and placing orders

Who You'll Be Working With:

• Purchasing Team:
• You'll work closely with the Purchasing and Operation Teams and report to our Purchasing Manager.
• Collaborating with buyers and senior buyers to assist them in reviewing and placing orders.
• Warehouse Team to ensure orders are coming in accurately.
• Marketing Team to source and add new products.
• Sales Team to assist in customer orders.
• Freight Team to bring in containers and ensure tracking.
• Finance Team to resolve billing issues on vendor invoices.

This is a paid hourly, 40 hour per week summer intern position that can be fully remote, onsite at our headquarters in Urbana, IA, or a hybrid. Flexibility in scheduling is available for this position Monday-Friday.
