Purchasing Specialist (FT)

• This person is responsible for acquiring needed supplies, materials and other relevant items, following a strict budget and keeping records of all the transactions.
• This position works closely with the finance and operations departments.
• The main duties of this position entail purchasing business-related items and equipment and comparing price between vendors to get the best price for goods and services.

• Review requests for quotes and purchase orders to procure materials, goods and supplies.
• Place orders with the suppliers.
• Review inventories and order as required.
• Interact with the suppliers on a day to day basis.
• Track the status of any orders.
• Deal with under orders, over orders and damaged goods.

• Attention to detail.
• Exhibit written communications skills.
• Experience with Google/Microsoft Apps.
• Self-starter who can multi-task, enjoys communicating, and building relationships.
• Ability to work with deadlines.
• Can handle fast-pace environment with interruptions.
• Valid driver license.
