DescriptionPureRed is looking for an SEO Specialist with a passion for analytics, exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and excellent communication skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment. The SEO Specialist will create briefs for new content creation, regularly report on metrics, and contribute to technical and creative strategies.What you'll do:• Quickly create SEO briefs for new content (including keyword research, basic content optimizations, metadata, and URL)• Create weekly and monthly reports to monitor site health, including organic traffic changes, keyword rankings, and competitor placement• Audit technical releases for biweekly development releases, reviewing site code and other technical factors• Create, edit, and implement Schema markup• Identify error pages and implement 301 redirects• Manage indexation and respond to issue alerts through Google Search Console and third-party SEO platforms• Ideate site updates and error resolution with client development team• Optimize YouTube titles, descriptions, linking, and on-site placement• Develop recommendations for metrics-informed updates to client’s content strategy• Utilize CMS to tag pages for indexation• Stay up to date on current trends and updates in the SEO industry• Create and present new ideas for content strategy based on changes in traffic or data metrics• Implement “index” “noindex” “nofollow” etc. tags on individual pages in the CMSWhat you'll need:• At least 1 year of experience with on-page and technical SEO• At least 1 year of experience with SEO research tools (Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Searchmetrics, ContentKing/Conductor, or similar), also, website analytics or BI tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar)• A High School Diploma or GED is required; some college preferred• Project management abilities to self-manage projects given by clientWhat you’ll get:• Paid time off• 401(k) matching program• A Linkedin Learning license to help advance your career skills• Competitive health/dental/vision insurance optionsWho we are: PureRed is an award-winning, 600+ associate, PE-owned advertising, marketing, and technology partner that delivers digital content at scale with speed and precision.
