Sr. Executive Administrative Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Executive Administrative Assistant is a seasoned administrative expert responsible for providing executive support to PVH’s Chief Communications Officer (CCO). This role will work directly with the CCO as a trusted and confidential partner to support all aspects of the CCO’s daily work routine. As a result, this role provides a broad range of administrative and operational support to the CCO, including heavy emphasis on scheduling and calendar management; travel arrangements (both domestic and international); expense reports; communications (via phone and e-mail); and presentation development. This role will also provide communications and program support in preparing materials, conducting research, and undertaking activities associated with the programmatic work. In addition, the role will be responsible for special projects, including support of Board and management meetings and department programs/events with proven ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion. A successful candidate will play a critical role in helping the company build Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger into the most desirable lifestyle brands in the world and make PVH one of the highest performing brand groups in its sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work directly with the CCO to support all aspects of her daily work routine.
  • Provide a broad range of administrative and operational support to the CCO.
  • Assist in day-to-day functions with heavy emphasis on calendar management; travel arrangements (both domestic and international); expense reports; communications (via phone and e-mail); and presentation development.
  • Manage and organize meetings (internal and external), which includes scheduling rooms; securing and preparing audio/video equipment for presentations; securing meeting materials or digital files from all applicable divisions; drafting agendas; writing memos; ordering and setting up food; storing documents for future reference; among other responsibilities.
  • Provide communications and program support including preparing and organizing materials, conducting research, and undertaking activities associated with the programmatic work.
  • Assist with special projects, including Board and management meetings, while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Coordinate with the office of the CEO to ensure CCO’s schedule is followed and respected.
  • Provide a bridge for effective communication between the CCO’s office and internal departments, including the office of the CEO; work closely with the C-Suite assistants.
  • Provide personal support (e.g., calendar and schedule alignment) when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting a C-suite senior executive (eg Chief Communications Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer or similar).
  • Ability to identify and anticipate the CCO’s needs.
  • A self-starter with exemplary time-management skills and willingness to take initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to work independently in an executive office.
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing needs and work well in a fast paced, high-energy and high-stakes environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with competing deadlines; Ability to navigate complex dynamics and anticipate future needs.
  • Experience exercising good judgment; Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive company information with discretion.
  • Experience interacting with high-level executives.
  • Knowledge or social media and trends.
  • Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Strong business acumen (experience in retail, apparel and/or consumer industries a plus).
  • Ability to work outside of traditional business hours when necessary.
  • Brings a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and “anything is possible” mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Pay Range: $95,000 - $110,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
