Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a visionary Executive Director - Development to spearhead the ambitious development initiatives within our groundbreaking entertainment and leisure project. This key leadership position requires an individual who is both strategic and operational, with a proven track record in leading large-scale development projects.

As the Executive Director - Development, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Qiddiya by overseeing the development strategy and ensuring that projects align with the company’s mission to create a world-renowned destination. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of development projects, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's vision and objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end development process, including project conception, design, financing, construction, and operational handover.
  • Engage with government authorities, industry partners, and the community to foster support and collaboration for development initiatives.
  • Oversee budget development and financial performance of projects, ensuring effective resource allocation and management.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in project delivery methods and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure projects comply with all necessary regulations, sustainability standards, and safety protocols.
  • Mentor and guide senior team members to build a high-performing development team.
  • Report regularly to senior management and the Board of Directors on project progress, strategies, and outcomes.
  • Champion a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the development function.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of extensive experience in development management, particularly in large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and executing major development initiatives in the entertainment, hospitality, or leisure sectors.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and manage diverse perspectives.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
