The Role

Our Technology team is growing! We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Developer in Test (SDET). 

In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. As an individual contributor, you will focus on building and improving testing infrastructure, writing automated test scripts, and collaborating with development teams to enhance testing processes. This role requires strong technical expertise in coding, automation, and quality assurance, with a focus on delivering scalable testing solutions across a range of products and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for end-to-end, integration, and performance testing.

• Develop automated tests for front-end, back-end, and APIs using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

• Continuously enhance test coverage across the software stack, identifying areas for automation and improving test efficiency.

• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable deployment processes.

• Establish and monitor testing KPIs, report on test results, and make data-driven recommendations to improve the testing process.

About You:

• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#) and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

• Extensive experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.

• In-depth knowledge of various testing types, including functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, and load testing.

• Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI) and familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.

• Experience with API testing frameworks such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

• Have excellent written and verbal English skills
