Position: Staffing Account Manager

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Duration: Full time – Direct Hire

Qualdoc is a quickly growing staffing and engineering firm that combines staffing services with metrology and supply chain services to support our Aerospace, Industrial, automotive and other clients.  We’re based out of Richmond VA with a team in Ohio, India, China and the Philippines.  We’re passionate about giving our teams the tools they need and are eager to drive the improvements that want to make.  


Position Overview:

As a Staffing Account Manager (Sales), you will play a crucial role in our company's growth by cultivating and managing client relationships. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new clients, maintaining existing accounts, and ensuring exceptional service delivery for our skilled industrial and engineering clients. This role requires a deep understanding of staffing solutions, strong sales acumen, and the ability to navigate client needs effectively.  The Account Manager is responsible for identifying their own leads and acting on the leads that recruiters generate.  The Account Manager is not responsible for recruiting.  


Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales, preferably in staffing or a similar industry
  • Demonstrated success in an outside sales role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through various sales techniques such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
  • Understand client staffing needs and customize solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update clients on service offerings and performance.


2. Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate staffing assignments, manage expectations, and ensure seamless service delivery.


3. Sales Strategy and Growth
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.


4. Operational Excellence
  • Work closely with recruitment teams to understand candidate qualifications and match them to client requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal standards in all client interactions and transactions.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback.

Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Must pass a criminal background check (7-year felony + sex offender)
