Location: Louisa, VA

Duration: Full Time, Contract to Hire

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter with experience in MIG and TIG welding to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of interpreting drawings, assembling parts, and performing high-quality welds. This role offers competitive compensation for individuals who can effectively fit and weld components as specified.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Welding: Perform MIG welding, and ideally TIG welding, to assemble parts and components.
  • Fitting: Take a set of drawings and a collection of parts and accurately fit them together.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper assembly and welding of parts.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a welder/fitter with strong MIG welding skills; TIG welding experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Competence in fitting parts accurately according to specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Subject to a pre-employment drug test and/or background check.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
