Quality Assurance Manager

Tarana Wireless is looking for a technical QA manager for a team focusing on enhancing the quality of our networking software and end-to-end functionalities of our fixed wireless products. You will be responsible for test automation, and test management which entails the development and execution of test plans, test strategy, and quality processes and drives the quality, stability, performance, security, and usability of products. Your team will also be involved in designing the test bed infrastructure to reflect our customers’ network topologies, and analyzing the escalated customer issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand the Tarana fixed wireless products, its cloud management suite, and the features being developed
• Lead the team to prepare detailed test plans, champion automation and efficiencies in the release process, and analyze and report test results
• Design testing infrastructure, environments, and plans to cover customer usage scenarios
• Lead the team to recreate escalated customer issues and analyze the test escape reasons.
• Effectively communicate project and testing status to all stakeholders
• Continuously raise the bar on the quality of the products and champion quality initiatives across the organization

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor/Master degree in computer science or a closely related field
• 12+ years of work experience in telecom/networking, preferably in QA positions
• 4+ years of managerial experience with project and time management skills
• Exposure to test automation design and implementation skills, preferably Python
• Understand and exposure to functional, system, performance, scale and regression testing
• Thorough knowledge on QA processes and methodologies
• Familiar with network test tools.
• Solid understanding of network protocols and topologies (L2, L3 and L4 network layers, incl switching, Ethernet, VLAN, QinQ, TCP/IP, routing, DHCP, DNS, NAT, QoS) is a strong plus
• Technical knowledge on telecom and/or wireless technologies is a plus
• Experience on Cloud management technology is a plus
• Be proactive and work independently with the passion for quality enhancement
