Quality Control Technician

Position overview:

The Quality Control Technician works directly with the Manufacturing and/or Distribution locations to ensure that all laboratory inspections are completed accurately, and in a timely manner, and ensures that the results are documented in all applicable systems as directed by documented work instructions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform inspection of incoming materials and outgoing orders label product accordingly
  • Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
  • Identify and record non conformances, communicate to team for disposition
  • Routine visual inspections
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience using precision measurement instruments in an industrial setting (ex. Micrometer, Caliper).
  • Blueprint reading. GD&T is a plus.
  • Use of basic measurement devices, thread gauge, calipers etc.
  • Fastener experience preferred, but not required.
  • Business software proficiency including Microsoft Excel.
  • Working proficiency of basic mathematics to include fractions, addition and subtraction of signed numbers, proportions and ratios etc.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
