The Skillset

• 2+ years of professional experience with QA engineering, preferably in a SaaS company
• Familiarity with Agile development/Scrum
• Experience with manual and automated testing
• Experience identifying issues with software before the product/feature launch
• Experience building automation framework
• Experience developing test plans and test cases
• Knowledge of either Java, JavaScript or Python
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Clubhouse, HP ALM, QC
• Nice (but not necessary) to have experience with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or cirusCI

What You'll Do

• Review/Analyze business requirements and functional specifications for completeness of QA requirements
• Review/Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provide timely feedback
• Define test requirements to create complete test plans and test cases
• Collaborate with Solvvy's Developers and Product Managers to solve any issues that may arise
• Identify and analyze any bugs and errors found during the test phase and document them for review (Bug reporting)
• Perform manual functional testing
• Plan new automation test procedures, reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas
• Develop and run new tests, report on the results, and collaborate with software developers to correct any issues
