Position Overview:
Performs a range of qualified and complex Quality tasks to ensure that agreed quality standards (for products, services, solution or projects) comply with agreed requirements in the North America region (USA and Canada)
Relocation will not be offered for this role
Responsibilities:
  • Proceeds with qualified, routine and non-routine Quality tasks.
  • Applies specialized Quality systems, equipment, tools and methods.
  • Initiates actions according to guidelines, when Quality does not match the standards.
  • Responds to quality related enquiries, may act as first point of contact in subject matters.
Required Knowledge, Education, Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Quality Inspector with a Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience with an Associate or Highschool Diploma.
  • Non-Conformance Record – Record, document, and follow up non-conformance occurrences. Follow up on the effectiveness of containment and corrective actions. Provides support to the investigation of the nonconformance. (pictures, measurements, documents, etc). Verify the effectiveness of the implemented solution
  • Documentation Verification - Review service records and other documents for accuracy and compliance to SGRE specifications. Ensure that quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements are met. Reads and interprets work orders, inspection manuals, meters, and engineering diagrams, drawings and schematics to determine inspection and test procedures.
  • Work in difficult and inclement weather conditions. Physical constraints to include lifting up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, and climbing at heights greater than 180 feet. Available to work on holidays, night shifts or long hours. Up to 75% travel.
  • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software
  • Team oriented
  • Ability to create reports
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fast learner and able to pass the training requirements of SGRE
  • Driving is an essential function of the job and applicants must have a valid driver’s license at the time of application with an acceptable driving record. Employees must maintain a valid license and acceptable driving record and may be subject to periodic DMV checks of their license.

Preferred Knowledge, Education, Experience and Skills
  • Experience in the Wind/Energy Industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with calibrated tooling.
  • Ability to identify non conformances.
  • Strong Mechanical and Electrical inspection experience
