Description Vice President, Demand Generation Reporting to Qualys's CMO, the VP Demand Generation will be responsible for driving pipeline growth through scaling up the engine in place to consistently capture demand, convert efficiently and partner with sales to drive measurable outcomes. You will own the strategy, positioning and execution of priorities for all digital channels, including but not limited to paid and organic (SEO and SEM), website and database marketing as well as ABX. You should develop a deep understanding of the levers to drive adoption and engagement across all products and all geographies to determine the optimal level of required investment. This is both a strategic role and involves managing day-to-day activities including initiatives to increase customer acquisition, maximizing pipeline generation and improving marketing ROI through efficient investment. Mapping the customer journey including upsell and cross-sell and implementing a product led growth strategy... will be essential to success in this role. You will have the opportunity to bring industry best-practices like post-mortem analysis, business reporting, and ongoing iteration of optimal digital marketing spends to help the marketing organization perform at its best. Critical to success will be deep collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing, Regional Marketing teams. Manage direct reports as well as agencies. This position is based out of our Foster City, CA, headquarters. Roles / Responsibilities Develop the company's data-driven, demand generation strategy and channels to drive new business, as well as expand the existing customer base. Own execution of its associated plan, including scope, target outcomes, key metrics and measures, and required inputs and resources to deliver Identify and cultivate the most lean-forward audiences with a strategic approach towards the right audiences to develop and acquire Understand deeply the customer lifecycle and identify opportunities for growth and optimization Build systems and processes that will track and report on pipeline key performance metrics and use this data to optimize campaign strategies continually Work cross-functionally not only within Marketing, but also Sales and Product Management to develop a strong pipeline of opportunities Leverage account-based marketing and selling tactics as efficient way to drive demand Leverage the power of the SaaS platform to enable custom triggers for Product Led Growth opportunities Develop analytics to measure the impact of each campaign and develop ways to scale Knowledge and Skills 7
years' experience in roles of increasing responsibility supporting B2B digital demand generation for mid to large enterprise, with demonstrated and impactful results in terms of metrics such as lead and opportunity creation, velocity/conversion rates through the demand waterfall, and closed business Experience with account-based marketing success and funnel KPIs Direct experience owning or driving organic and paid digital channels (SEO, SEM, Social) as well as email efforts Experience running a global organization Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Excellent strategic thinking, develop comprehensive, data-driven marketing plans and ability to influence and work collaboratively across organizations Fluency in demand generation metrics and approaches to test and optimize them including the use of Salesforce, Marketo, intent platforms, Google Analytics Proven track record of building, developing, and elevating a high-performing team Bachelor's degree required; MBA desirable Entrepreneurial drive, energetic and willing attitude Experience in Security marketing preferred but, not mandatory An innate sense of urgency to drive programs forward A love of data and can analyze a marketing funnel; you can identify and size different growth opportunities and the various ways to meet them The ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations for senior executives
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
