If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:Roles & Responsibilities:• Work alongside the manufacturing engineering team and shop floor to create and modify work instructions involving welding, fabrication, and machining operations• Develop, produce, and modify process operation and assembly sheets. (Solumina preferred)• Knowledge of GD&T and can integrate within a production process. Keen understanding of B/P interpretation as it relates to specification requirements• May have a working knowledge of 3D modeling (NX preferred)• Experienced with basic manufacturing processes, methods, and techniques. Particularly in aluminum and steel brazing, welding, and machining. Understanding Heat Exchanger manufacturing is a plus.• Ability to mark up requirements for fixtures, tools, and gages• Support supplier questions about fixtures and part requirements• Ability to manage various projects and tasks while following the approval process for authoring operation sheets• Identify areas for improved product manufacturability, reduced product cost, or improved product reliability• Communicates technical subject matter proficiently, both written and verbally• Responds effectively in high-paced environment• Production troubleshooting (cause & effect) must be a strength• Proficient in RCCA methodology and can own actions to drive down product nonconformance• Can rationalize and implement inspection methods and techniques• Skilled in project management and follows up on tasks daily• Create presentations based on process data and results to show opportunities for productivity improvements and cost savings• Ability to manage various project and process tasks related to product quality• Work ExperienceRequired Skills (Technical Competencies):• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations• Knowledge of various tools, gages, and fixtures• Proficient in blueprint reading• Proficient in GD&T as well as a firm background in generating operation sheets• Experienced in AS9100 and basic manufacturing processes, methods, and techniques. Particularly in aluminum and steel brazing, welding, and machining.• Competency with machines and tools required to fabricate and manufacture Sheet Metal• Knowledge of processes for cutting, bending, assembling, and welding sheet metal parts, tools, or componentsDesired Skills:• Ability to create clear and concise work instructions (Solumina)• Familiarity with Teamcenter and NX preferred.• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint• Self-motivated to ensure accountability, disciplined to improve processes, passionate about engineering and organized to track many work streams.• Excellent verbal and written communication• Organized with the ability to multi-task while driving actions to completion.• Excellent communication and teamwork skills• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office with an emphasis on ExcelPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:• Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures• Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM• Weekend shift Days: Saturday & Sunday• Flexibility in workday/weekends to meet customer production schedule• Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously• Problem-solving ability to address document-related challenges• Ability to work in shop floor and office environment• Ability to lift 50 lbs• Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents
