Job Description Summary: As PayPal and PayPal Braintree continues to expand and deepen our Risk-as-a-Service (RaaS) product suite, we are looking for a Product and Commercial Strategy Lead to drive our global commercial strategy for our RaaS customers. This lead will establish and influence the global commercial and product strategy for new business acquisition, growth of existing customers within the RaaS areas, working in tandem with the GM of RaaS. They will also oversee the enablement of new product and feature adoption across our customer base. You will own bringing our key commercial offerings to market and aligning our Commercial, Marketing, Operational, and Product teams with those offerings. You will be responsible for the commercial success of all customers within the RaaS vertical.

As a product and commercial strategy lead for Risk-as-a-Service, your primary responsibility shall the following:

  • Own the growth, adoption, and usage of the RaaS suite of products around the world.
  • Develop and maintain segmentation of our customer portfolio and identify opportunities to expand into new markets and/or products, in collaboration with the Product Marketing team.
  • Collect feedback on existing products and solutions from our global customer base (and our Sales/Account Management teams) and align with our Product teams on how to best prioritize the development of new solutions.
  • Analyze customer pain points throughout the product delivery lifecycle (sales, integration, support etc) and work internally to establish efficient processes to alleviate these pain points.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to build out product-specific and vertical-specific value propositions and identify competitive differentiation in key areas.
  • Develop revenue opportunities and define managed services offerings for our clients globally, working in tandem with the pricing strategy team.
  • Shape our go-to-market strategy and positioning for our critical product areas and communicate this in an actionable way to our global Sales & Account Management organization.
  • Represent RaaS internally and externally as a thought leader in various forums, customer engagements and industry events.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working in product or strategy roles for customer facing products or businesses
  • Understanding of the payments and preferably, risk management technologies.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up business decisions
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Strong problem-solving abilities - you can cut through the noise and laser focus on what really matters
  • Ability to clearly communicate user experience issues and service specifications to both business and technical audience using requirements documents, use cases and desired outcomes.
  • Team player with ability to interface and build relations at all levels
  • "Can do” attitude, team player, fun, energetic personality, works well under pressure.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $107300 to $259600
