We are hiring a Senior Manager of Leadership Development. Reporting to our Head of People & Talent, your mission will be to make every employee at Ramp as impactful as possible. You will design and implement strategies, policies, and programs to ensure that every leader and their team is enabled to do their best work. You will work directly with executives and department heads to implement programs in their organizations and help them solve individual cases in their organizations.
The perfect candidate will be able to operate both on the ground level as an individual contributor and as the leader of the function setting and generating buy-in for the strategy. Leaning on our people data, you will be tasked with prioritizing what strategies and tactics have the highest ROI for Ramp today.
This role is based in our New York office near Madison Square Park. We default to being in the office every day, but stints of working remotely are perfectly fine.
You will design and implement the strategy to make leaders at Ramp as successful as possible, including policies, training, and coaching
You will partner directly with leaders across the entire company on performance issues and employee relations, including investigations, performance issues, and terminations
Design and manage the strategy to elevate Ramp's leaders, including training, coaching, and policy development.
Work with leaders to design and iterate on career leveling frameworks across the entire company
Own Ramp’s semi-annual review cycle process
Own Ramp’s learning and development strategy
+5 years experience working in non-People roles (consulting, finance, high-caliber operations)
+1 year working in a People role (HR, Operations, Compensation)
Excellent coaching and consulting skills; ability to build trust with a diverse range of leaders
Ability to create strategies and programs, generate buy-in from stakeholders, and implement them
Understanding of employment law and legal risk and ability to learn more
Strong ability to identify opportunities to implement and improve processes to increase operational leverage
