Inventory Control Specialist - Contract Position

DescriptionThe Inventory Control Specialist will perform essential inventory control functions under general supervision, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing cycle counts and managing warehouse transfer transactions. The role requires strict adherence to established inventory procedures. The position allows for hands-on involvement in important inventory processes, contributing to the efficiency of the organization.Skills• Previous experience in materials or inventory control• Knowledge of ERP systems, spreadsheets, and word processing software• Excellent math skills and attention to detail• Familiarity with GMPs, product specifications, and incoming inspection procedures• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams• Forklift or Powered Industrial Truck experience (preferred)Responsibilities• Execute inventory control functions with a focus on accuracy and compliance• Conduct cycle counts and manage warehouse transfer transactions• Maintain compliance with all established procedures and protocols• Assist with storekeeping and inventory management tasks as required• Utilize ERP systems for inventory tracking and documentation• Ensure proper handling and inspection of incoming inventory per GMPs and product specifications• Interface effectively with cross-functional teams to support inventory control activitiesQualifications• Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control or materials handling• Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment preferred• Familiarity with inventory control proceduresEducation Requirements• No degree requiredEducation Requirements Credential Category• NoneExperience Requirements• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in inventory control or materials handlingWhy work in San Diego, CASan Diego is known for its beautiful weather, stunning beaches, and vibrant culture.
