Materials Planner

**Overview:** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Planner to join our team in Apopka, Florida. As a Materials Planner, you will be responsible for maintaining MRP planning parameters, releasing purchase orders, and expediting production to meet customer delivery expectations. If you have experience in material planning, inventory management, or purchasing, and are looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities:**• Maintain MRP planning parameters for all assigned parts/suppliers• Release purchase orders from MRP planned releases for assigned items• Create daily production schedule to maintain established safety stock levels and meet non-stock order requirements• Expedite purchase orders and/or production as needed to meet customer delivery expectations• Maintain a parts shortage list and provide updates to stock holders• Work with suppliers and internal customers to resolve non-conforming quality issues• Work as a team player in a fast-paced environment• Independently troubleshoot issues/concerns and determine course of action• Comply with all safety and department regulations• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the group lead• *Qualifications:**• 2+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management• Proficient with standard MS Office applications, including intermediate to advanced level in Excel• Strong organizational and time management skills• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Supplier relationship management skills• *Benefits:**• Competitive hourly rate of $25-$27• Opportunities for advancement and professional growth• Steady schedule and weekly pay• Comprehensive benefits package, including health, incentive and recognition program, and 401K contribution (based on eligibility)
