This is a fantastic opportunity to write engaging money and lifestyle content for more than 50 major news sites including some of the biggest publishers in the UK including the Daily Express, Mirror, Star, Manchester Evening News, Daily Record, Liverpool Echo and Birmingham Live.
The Content Hub is home to around 300 journalists from across our business and powered by our amazing brands, delivering brilliant content that drives engagement, impact and results. You’ll be part of our Money and Lifestyle team, publishing original content across our network based on audience data.

This role is home based and we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK.
What will the role involve?
You will source, write, edit and share money and lifestyle focussed, shareable content stories across our brands web, mobile, app and social platforms. You will tell stories through a variety of channels including videos, pictures and written articles with engaging captions and headlines that specifically engage our under 35s audiences. You will use effective social searches and social media to source stories and push your content.
You will utilise AI tools, in line with company policies, to optimise content creation, improve accuracy and efficiency and deliver engaging articles for the vertical that resonate with our audience. If 18 - 35 year-old’s care about something, you will be writing about it, from personal finance, to health, wellness and beyond. This role will involve working shifts on a rota basis including weekends and occasional evenings, so a flexible approach is required.
Who are we looking for?
You are an experienced NCTJ qualified journalist (or have relevant time served experience) with demonstrable experience writing engaging news content in a regional or national newsroom and excellent media law knowledge. You are an expert digital storyteller with a keen news sense who can leap onto the trending issues of the day. You have a good understanding of how referrers like Google Discover work and have a proven track record in writing articles which reach a wide audience.
You are bursting at the seams with content ideas and you have a keen interest in money and lifestyle content. Ideally you will have prior experience writing and publishing money and lifestyle consumer driven content, though this is not essential. You are social media savvy and have proven experience promoting your content across various platforms.
