Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President, General Manager to lead and grow The Real Wallet business line. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end management of The Real Wallet, including product strategy, business development, financial performance, and team leadership. The GM will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and be instrumental in establishing The Real Wallet as a market leader in digital financial solutions for real estate professionals.
Duties/Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive The Real Wallet’s growth and market adoption among real estate agents.
Analyze industry trends and market data to adjust strategy and product offerings to remain competitive and relevant.
Product & Service Development:
Oversee the roadmap for product enhancements and new features, prioritizing user-friendly functionality, security, and agent-specific financial needs.
Collaborate with product and tech teams to align the digital wallet’s offerings with evolving market demands and feedback from agents.
Operational Excellence:
Manage day-to-day operations to ensure The Real Wallet’s reliability, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee partnerships with banking partners and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) providers to ensure seamless integration and quality of financial offerings.
Ensure all activities and product offerings comply with applicable regulations and industry standards, mitigating any compliance risks.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on delivering
exceptional service and support to agents.
Financial Performance:
Drive revenue growth, monitor KPIs, and ensure the business unit meets or exceeds financial targets.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for The Real Wallet.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
Serve as a brand ambassador for The Real Wallet, representing the business line at industry events, in presentations, and with key partners.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and data to drive business growth and product innovation.
Extensive experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
Knowledge of digital financial products and services, with a track record of overseeing product enhancements and aligning offerings with user needs.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to digital financial solutions, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with internal teams, external partners, and industry stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to achieve financial targets and drive business performance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
In-depth understanding of the real estate sector and the unique financial needs of real estate professionals.
A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the business line.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in a senior management or general management role, ideally in digital finance, fintech, or proptech sectors.
Strong understanding of digital financial products, credit offerings, and real estate agent needs.
Demonstrated success in business growth, financial management, and team leadership.
