Re:Car dba SLATE, a new company in the electric vehicle space, is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate accounting activities.

Skills

Experience in completing accounting activities for a manufacturing company
Ability to prepare financial statements and reports
Knowledge in implementing new accounting procedures
Strong communication and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Strong ethics and integrity

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
Assist in the monthly close process
Prepare monthly financial reports
Support the annual audit process
Prepare work instructions for recurring accounting activities and use them
Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis organization on budgeting and forecasting
Ensure work is done with strong internal controls and segregation of duties
Help implement systems required for a public company
Continuously improve the accuracy and speed of work

Education

B.S. in Accounting
Current CPA license preferred
