Finance Manager, Manufacturing FP&A
Re:Car dba SLATE is looking for a Finance Manager of Manufacturing FP&A to lead the financial planning of the manufacturing division. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize capital spending and resource allocation.
Skills
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Experience in manufacturing finance
- Knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis
- ERP systems experience, preferably NetSuite
- Inventory management expertise
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Team management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional efforts to optimize manufacturing capex and labor cost trade-offs
- Plan and manage labor costs and plant labor model
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing division
- Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability for improvement opportunities
- Optimize inventory management and controls in collaboration with production, purchasing, and engineering
- Liaise between operations, finance, and accounting on financial impact issues
- Develop and manage cost and financial controls according to regulations and accounting principles
- Assist with financial reporting and audits for plant operations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- MBA or CPA preferred
